Outstanding self-help book for professionals who are willing to invest in their career trajectory

I read the book as I know Deepak and was curious to see what he had produced. One of the best decisions I have made as reading the book got me to reflect on where I had made some good choices and where I unwittingly ended up pushing away opportunities for success which were there for me during my own career!

A must read for young professionals who have navigated some of the early stages of their career and now want to achieve more.

It is a self-help book that co-relates personal decisions and professional decisions

I feel I have read the book at the right stage of my career. Much unlike the main character in the book, I am recently married and beginning my career in my own business. To understand how ones personal life and professional life are so intertwined has been an eye opening exercise for me personally.

This book makes you question the needs you have in life (again both personal and professional) and helps you draw clarity within yourself.

I read this book as I wanted to know what is required to be successful.

I came to know the pillars of effective communication and what pillar I am lacking as effective communication is the most important weapon for a professional. Compassion, empathy and control should be used judiciously to effectively manage a team.

The most important take away for me is how to resolve conflicts- ThERe: Think, Evaluate and Response. This, I feel, is very useful and we can resolve the conflicts among peers, seniors and other colleagues.
